One noticeable change coming up on South Park

I have been looking forward to the return of South Park with new episodes starting March 22nd.

However, I noticed that there will be one very noticeable change coming up.

The AP is reporting that Issac Hayes (yes the "Shaft" guy) has quit South Park. Issac did the voice of Chef on the show.

Quotes from the AP story - ``There is a place in this world for satire, but there is a time when satire ends and intolerance and bigotry towards religious beliefs of others begins,'' the 63-year-old soul singer and outspoken Scientologist said. ``Religious beliefs are sacred to people, and at all times should be respected and honored,'' he continued. ``As a civil rights activist of the past 40 years, I cannot support a show that disrespects those beliefs and practices.''

It will be a very noticeable change for new episodes and we'll just have to see how the show goes from here. I would have to agree that the show has lost some of its original spark but there are still a few great episodes coming out still.
