One place where gas is still cheaper than water

Gas is currently about 12 cents a gallon in Venezuela.
Not kidding!

The government does a gas subsidy there were gas is sold at below market rate, therefore causing the outrageously cheap gasoline. The government is actually losing out on getting a large amount of money (possibly billions of dollars) due to this subsidy.

Brazilians are coming across the border for gas, and Colombians are smuggling it. SUVs are also popular there as well, so that's an environmental bad thing.
